the re-awakening

The Owen family had owned BRM since its acquisition by Sir Alfred Owen in 1952, and long recognised the significance of what the team - and those behind it - had achieved.

In 2019, four direct descendants of Sir Alfred initiated “The Re-Awakening,” a project to re-establish BRM’s place among the great names of motorsport. Bringing together a team with the passion, experience and vision to carry the marque forward, the initiative focused on celebrating those who made BRM possible - honouring their legacy in the present while shaping its future.
